Pernah gak sih kalian suka lihat tembok kosong yang gak keurus, dan pengen banget deh di coret-coret demi keisingan yang biasa kita sebut mural. Mural adalah cara menggambar atau melukis di atas media dinding, tembok atau permukaan luas yang bersifat permanen. Nah ternyata adalah loh yang kepikiran seperti kakak-kakak dari Indonesia mengajar untuk mengisi tembok-tembok kosong itu tidak hanya enak dilihat secara estetik tapi untuk menjadi media penyampaian pesan dari situasi atau permasalahan yang terjadi di daerah tersebut. They called it Tembokpedia. Cool!

ngemural aja udah seru, tambah seru lagi ngemuralnya dilakukan bersama-sama oleh adik-adik disana apalagi ternyata apa yang kita kerjakan bisa bermanfaat orang lain :)

Project Tembokpedia ini adalah pertama kalinya dilakukan, bertempat di belakan gedung Tifa kuningan Barat jakarta selatan. Dua hari sebelum mural, kita berjumpa untuk penentuan konsep. Ada 4 hal yang dibawa oleh kakak relawan Indonesia mengajar ini yaitu, Lindungi anak dari kekerasan Seksual, impian, penggunaan gadget untuk hal positif, dan pesan positif. Tujuan dari Tembokpedia ini, (well I am not specific to ask them) adalah sebagai pengingat, edukasi, dan partisipatif masyarakat disana tentang permasalahan terjadi (kakak-kakak relawan Indonesia mengajar, correct me if I am wrong hehe)

This is just beginning, I should not happy easily. I should keep working and have fun to make another beautiful artworks :). But that moment makes me Encourage!

It has been long time I didn't write blog and I miss it :). I want to share my artwork, children story book. collaboration with my friend Analia Tan, awesome and passionate writer. We made this story and illustration for joining competition in Korean and Singapore. But unfortunately we didn't make it. Even we didn't win I still keep want to making something from my book for helping children. I call this project as "Buy One Give One" yeayy

..And there was event coming, POPCON Asia 2013 on 5-7 July. That was amazing experience met new people and amazing illustrator. But the important thing is "Buy One Give One" project. Every buy Andy's book, customer will get another same book to donate for children who needs it.

Story about a girl, who has been exploitation by adult. Now days irresponsible (specially bad people) adult using children to working, and exploit them to get money from other people sympathy. They must work harder and some of them stop schooling, and make them become not educated. She must looking for the right key to set her free from the exploitation.

My final project for 3rd semester in school. Making children book, this story is about a kid who want to buy a new shoes and thinking about how to spending the money.The story is not mine, but all illustration and process of making video done by me.
